Upcoming Show - Dean Niewolny!

Tune in Saturday, September 30th at 8:30 AM on 89.5 WSOU to hear from Dean Niewolny - CEO of the Halftime Institute and author of "Trade Up: How to Move from Just Making Money to Making a Difference." Dean was specifically chosen to be our special September 30th guest. The Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi is right around the corner, and Dean is a modern-day role model of St. Francis! The Halftime Institute helps to promote joy and meaning, especially during the second half of people's lives. Dean describes halftime as the period that occurs around age 45. It marks the ending of Life I and the beginning of something known as Life II, or the second half. People learn to "identify [their] calling, to live out faith in God, to multiply kingdom impact in the issues that Jesus cares about, and to experience lasting joy in community." Halftime is a time when people may reevaluate their lives and examine their personal level of fulfillment. It may involve switching from one job to a drastically different one, or in some cases, simply realigning with a calling that they are already pursuing. Tune in on Saturday to hear Dean discuss the Halftime Institute, and crush myths about the halftime period!
